Arjuna, based on a Peter Brook production of Mahabharata.

Figurative sculpture, at its best, is capable of expressing the human condition in all its myriad facets, going beyond merely transitory movements in art.  I have always found great delight in observing the human body in action or at rest.  The dancer, sportsman, mother and child, craftsman, actor, businessman, all reflect aspects of life which are endlessly fascinating.  Communicating that in bronze or silver, alabaster or terracotta is the challenge.
